How Does PondClear Work?

Common water clarity issues and imbalances are from abundant organic debris from fish waste, decaying vegetation, and storm runoff that carries fertilizers and other contaminants. If left alone, The resulting excess nutrients can cause water clarity and quality issues and fuel rampant weed and algae growth.

EcoBoost PRx binds phosphates quickly, safely, and effectively, making them unusable as a food source for weeds and algae.

Combining PondClear natural bacteria with a maintenance dose of EcoBoost PRx will improve water clarity and bind phosphates, delivering long-lasting results.

Note: If your pond is suffering from highly cloudy or murky water resulting from storm runoff, chemical fertilizers, organic decomposition, and chemical herbicide or algaecide treatments, your phosphate levels may be high and require a complete reset treatment of EcoBoost PRx.

Apply every two weeks when water temperatures are above 50°F.

How to Apply

Convenient water soluble packets (WSP) make treating ponds a breeze. There’s no need to cut, tear, scoop, or pour PondClear. Just throw the packets in your pond and let your water do the rest. Distribute packets from shore or boat. PondClear works best when evenly disbursed across the body of water.

Water Use Restrictions

PondClear is ideal for lakes and ponds used for irrigation and aquaculture. Water treated with PondClear may be used immediately after treatment for recreation, fishing, and other activities. Safe for recreational ponds, horses, livestock, birds, pets, fish, wildlife, and the environment. Not tested on water intended for human consumption.
